Classic and Elegant

Kriti Soni, the charming jewellery designer, opted for a classic, elegant look by choosing a Karishma Kimatrai saree from www.indianhanger.com. Kriti recalled what she wore at her close friends wedding a few years ago. “I chose a light weight antique gold lehenga, and brightened it with antique jadau jeweller with rubies. Although I love sarees and am comfortable in them, I chose to wear a lehenga as I had a fair amount of running around to do.”

Kriti, like Nishka Lulla and Shaan Khanna, followed her mother’s footsteps. So we asked the daughter of ace Jewellery Designer Poonam Soni, what career she would have opted for, had it not been jewellery designing. “Certainly a creative field, possibly interiors or even creating unusual aerobic workouts- something I've been professionally trained for and have dabbled with in the past.”
