Shaping
up for your wedding.
If you're on
your way to get married, now is a good time to take your health and appearance
more seriously. But don't be like the friend I have - the one who crash
dieted and got into shape for his wedding, only to let go once it was over.
You'll do better if you think of keeping in shape as a way of life, and
not as something you do occasionally. Here are a few tips that will help
you in the Health & Vitality department for your wedding and the days that
follow:
- Join
a gym or take up a cardiovascular excercise like jogging, walking, swimming,
cycling or aerobics.
- Practice
yoga and meditation for a feeling of physical and spiritual well being.
- If you're
overweight or underweight, consult a dietician to help you plan your
diet. Resist the temptation to crash diet.
- You may
want to consider quitting smoking - for good. It will improve the quality
of your life and that of your skin.
- Eat healthy
for a brighter, fresher look. Cut down on the junk food and sugar, but
go ga-ga over salads, sprouts, greens, and that elixir of life - water.
- Get your
beauty sleep. Don't let anything disturb those rejuvenating eight hours.
- Supplement
your diet with vitamins after checking with your physician.
