Colourful and breezy, Jasmine Arneja, an HR professional and Akshit Sobti, a Brand Manager in Mussoorie looked straight out of a storybook. Planned and decorated by WeddingSutra Favorite – Unik Experiences, the wedding consisted of unique decor themes that stood out against the venue’s lush beauty.
Wedding Planning
Shaivya Agarwal and Ayush Kanojia from Unik Experiences share, “Jasmine and Akshit were very well-researched as to what they wanted for their wedding. That being said, they were also very receptive to new ideas and as we guided them through the maze of orchestrating a wedding, we had a blast! All in all, they had a minimalistic yet traditional wedding in mind given the vibes of Mussoorie.”
Weddings Functions
Mehendi
For the sunkissed mehndi, the decor was punctuated by hues of blue and blue pottery elements that added a rustic touch. Adding pops of colour were florals that swayed to the breeze while the bride got her henna applied under a breezy canopy seated comfily on a sofa.
Sangeet
The sangeet event was a dreamy one with off-white blooms and plenty of LED candles that gave the indoor venue a golden glow. Equipped with a wide stage where the couple gave a performance that led to many cheers, the sangeet aced as it followed the off-white and gold colour palette favoured by the couple.
Haldi
For the haldi, the traditional yellow theme was given a subtle twist with the inclusion of off-white hues in the decor. Floral printed cushions and drapes enhanced the beauty of the colours while a buntawala helped the guests beat the heat!
Wedding
For the wedding day, pastel hues dominated the decor. The sundowner wedding was a romantic one as the dramatic sunset sky set the mood right for the couple’s union. Decked up in dainty flowers and breezy pink drapes – the mandap was the highlight of the wedding decor!
