How they met
Aashna and Raunak’s journey traces back to Hyderabad where they were high school sweethearts! Kindling their love in the 9th grade, their commitment endured the tests of time and distance as they went on to pursue their education and careers in Visual Design and Software Engineering respectively. In 2016, when Raunak’s path led him back to Hyderabad, a new chapter unfolded, strengthening their relationship as they grew together as a couple. When he shifted once again to Seattle for better opportunities in 2019, it was a milestone in not just his career but also their relationship. 2 years later on their 13th anniversary, Raunak went down on one knee and proposed!

In the words of Aashna, “Our journey, though marked by time and distance, was woven together by the threads of love, perseverance, and shared dreams. From the corridors of our school to the shores of a distant beach, it’s been an incredible journey!”

Haldi
An intimate gathering, Inspired by pottery, elegant arches, and a gentle palette of orange and peach, coupled with a forest-like backdrop, the decor introduced a subtle contrast to the traditional yellow flowers resulting in a memorable setup. Delicate hanging lamps and soft drapes added a touch of rustic coastal charm to the ambiance, infusing freshness into the event.

Mehndi
Fusing a boho aesthetic with timeless traditions, the mehndi celebration unfolded With Diwan sets thoughtfully arranged throughout the venue exuded a relaxed and inviting ambiance, setting the tone for comfort and ease. The evening was beautifully amplified by a live music performance by Arpit Chourey, seamlessly transitioning into the energetic beats curated by DJ Sunny.

The event saw designated photo booths boasting vibrant backdrops, ensuring that every moment captured was a cherished memory. The intricate blend of elements made the mehndi soirée an unforgettable experience, leaving an indelible mark on all who attended.

Sangeet
The sangeet soiree unfolded as an enchanting event, filled with an abundance of light and verdant foliage. A shimmering forest walkway extended a mesmerizing welcome to the guests, leading them into an evening brimming with music, dance, and delightful moments. The couple’s choice of a dance floor-stage combination was a stroke of brilliance, inviting their dear ones to partake in their performances and revel in the festivities.

The evening was further electrified by the energetic DJ Saurabh Dhiman, infusing the air with infectious beats that kept everyone on their feet. The addition of custom cocktails added a personalized touch, ensuring that every sip was as memorable as the laughter that filled the air. In every aspect, the occasion was a resounding success, an ode to the couple’s love, and the shared joy of all in attendance.

Wedding
A union of Gujarati and Sindhi traditions, the wedding was a harmonious celebration that artfully blended the customs of both cultures and symbolized the unity of two families as they honored and cherished their unique backgrounds.

Adorned with flowers and pastel hues, the mandap exuded a soft glam and vintage boho vibes, elegantly combining traditional elements with new and innovative design choices like the dome-shaped photo booth. This blending of old and new perfectly captured the essence of the wedding, which aimed to honor age-old traditions while also embracing contemporary aesthetics.

As the sun set and evening descended, the newlyweds seamlessly transitioned from their wedding ceremony to the reception, all within the same venue.
