Uber glam and drenched in vivid hues, Harleen Dua and Parth Sharma’s fusion destination wedding was a mesmerizing celebration. How They Met
Harleen shares, “We met in college while pursuing our MBA courses and swiftly became good friends as we bonded over table tennis sessions. As we grew closer, we fell in love and realized how important our relationship truly is!”
Wedding Planning
The wedding day is one of the biggest days in a couple’s life. For their big day, the couple placed their trust in Happyframes who with their expertise photographed unfiltered moments of joy as well as stylized portraits of the couple as they put their best foot forward. Weddings Functions
Mehndi
First in the lineup of celebrations was a sunny Mehndi where the bride had a cheery time getting her hands patterned with henna while being surrounded by her gal pals. Surrounded by lush foliage and whimsical decor, the event was a colorful one punctuated with the rich beats of the Dhol.
Sangeet
At Indian weddings, the Sangeet event is possibly the one with the highest glamour quotient, and it was no different for Harleen and Parth, who donned dark hues for the evening and took their place under the spotlight to show off their groovy moves. Furnished with a huge stage lit up by old-school stage bulbs, the event exuded equal parts of vintage as well as modern glamour.
Haldi
True to tradition, the Haldi venue was decorated in shades of yellow. With the bride and groom’s Haldi being hosted together, this celebration was high-spirited as the couple was slathered in turmeric playfully by their friends.
Wedding
For the big day, the couple had the best of both respectively, a Sikh wedding ceremony and a Hindu wedding ceremony. Spiritual, minimalistic and serene, the elegant Sikh wedding was close-knit and held indoors. The Hindu wedding ceremony followed right after where glamour took a front seat with lush floral arrangements, fireworks and a stunning Phoolon ki Chadar under which the bride made her graceful entry.
