Isha and Nitish, Udaipur
Flanked by traditional dancers and seated on a luxurious boat that glided over a serene pond, this bride’s wedding entry exuded royal vibes.
Surrounded by the magnificent Rajasthani architecture and their loved ones, Isha and Nitish’s nuptials were a perfect union between traditional and contemporary tastes. Photographed by WeddingSutra Favorite – CineLove Productions, who with every shot captured a plethora of emotions, their wedding was a feast for the eyes with its tasteful grandeur and tender moments.
How They Met
Nitish recollects, “Our first meeting was actually an arranged marriage setup which was initiated by our parents. Surprisingly, I never thought that I’d go for an arranged marriage since I have always been very skeptical about choosing a life partner in the first meeting itself. But, as fate would have it, one glance at Isha just changed everything, and I must say, I just somehow knew that she was ‘the one’ for me. However, we still took our time and courted each other for a month before sealing the deal with a roka.”
Wedding Planning
To make sure everything went exactly as planned the couple planned months in advance for their larger than life nuptials. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic spreading across the globe, their well-laid plans of having a wedding at Phuket, Thailand were disbanded and the entire event was shifted to Udaipur just 15 days before the wedding date.
But even though the hardships of changing the plans were immense, the couple kept a firm hold on positivity and ensured not a detail was missed, by roping in expert vendors who’d guide them through the extensive maze of last-minute planning. On the photography front, they chose CineLove Productions, who with their superior skills and constant dedication impressed the couple. Expressing their pleasure, the couple goes on to share, “The entire CineLove Productions team was absolutely amazing. Focused, talented and friendly, working with them was comfortable and easy. They were never hesitant to work hard and ensured that each shot was beautiful. We’d love to work with them again in the future!”
Weddings Functions
Haldi
With a ‘phoolon ki holi’ theme, the Haldi was a vibrant affair swathed in hues of yellow and orange as the guests who followed a yellow and white dress code were serenaded by entertainers dressed as Lord Krishna. Filled to the brim with playfulness, age was just a number at this event as, both, old and young, shook a leg, and smeared the couple with haldi.
Mehndi
Punctuated by local Rajasthani folk artists and beats of the dhol, the Mehndi witnessed everyone in high spirits as they eagerly shook a leg on the dance floor. Surrounded by minimalistic yet vivid floral decor, the bride and groom set the dance floor on fire with their bhangra moves that had everyone joining in.
Sangeet and Cocktail
Stepping up the glamour stakes, the sangeet and cocktail took glitz to new heights as everyone turned up in their best gowns and tuxedos. Equipped with a colossal stage, colorful spotlights, and energetic performances, this event ensured that no one stood by idly as the music raged on well into the wee hours of the morning.
Wedding
Taking the classic route, the wedding followed a royal theme that was replete with traditional Indian elements that went perfectly with the plush venue. However, the highlight of the evening was the bridal entry where Isha seated on a boat flanked by graceful dancers glided towards the mandap to meet her groom. Bathed in the golden glow of numerous lights, the decor was breathtakingly gorgeous as Isha and Nitish took their vows under a simple mandap adorned with flowers.
