How they met
When it comes to finding your soulmate, timing is everything. Niharika and Manas were connected through acquaintances and eventually met in college, but despite being in the same class for 3 years they never spoke a word with each other. It wasn’t until they went to different ones that their friendship started to bloom, and once it did there was no looking back. Thus began their journey of a decade as they went from strangers to best friends, lovers, and finally life partners.
Wedding Planning
The couple chose the intimate venue of Tropical Retreat Luxury Spa and Resort in Igatpuri for their wedding getaway and enlisted a talented team of vendors to pull off their celebrations while ensuring Covid safety protocols. Haldi
Imagined with the vibrant decor of drapes and marigold blooms in a bright yellow palette, the poolside haldi was a sunkissed affair full of lively moments of family love. The bride and groom wore shades of yellow for the ceremony and sat in massive urlis as their loved ones gathered around them, dousing them in turmeric paste and water.
Mehendi
The sunny exuberance of the Haldi function was amped up for the poolside mehndi with puffs of colorful smoke to welcome the dancing couple as they entered with their friends and family. The combination of beaming yellows with blue Rajasthani prints and textures conjured the perfect setting for a morning of music and dancing. The bride looked radiant in a floral pink lehenga as she twirled happily, while the groom’s intricately patterned muted grey kurta set perfectly complemented her look for the occasion.
Sangeet
The festivities perked up with an intimate yet boisterous Sangeet night by the pool, as everyone let their hair down for a night of limitless fun and dancing.
