How We Met
“Dhruv and I have been best friends since we were children! We started dating in high school and never looked back. Faith just kept us going and fast-forward 10 years and here we are! He may be my husband today but he’ll always be my best friend first.”

“The destination was something I had decided even before I met Dhruv! The rich culture and palatial settings of Jodhpur ooze royal, vintage charm and as the for the location, standing out as a lavish fort like structure, WelcomHotel in Jodhpur was ideal for us.”
Wedding Planning, Decor & Theme
“The planning process was relatively smooth. We had a local planner from Jodhpur suggesting and helping us with the tiny details. Our families did most of the research and preparation. As for the photography and videography, Hari Kiran Agnur did a fabulous job in capturing our special moments!”

Evening Dinner
“The wedding festivities started off with a welcome dinner. People from both families met and got set to gear up for the revelries to follow!”
Mehndi
“While I got my mehndi done during the dinner itself, the formal function was held the next day. Now a wedding in Rajasthan can’t be complete without the native chudis! Not only did we have those for the ladies but the Rajasthani music in the background set just the perfect mood for the event. I wore a peach outfit by Kassia and all of Dhruv’s outfits for the wedding were designed by Study by Janak.”
Sangeet
“The following evening we hosted a sangeet which the most happening event of the wedding! Young and old let loose and you could see everyone dancing away to glory on the dance floor! We had special performances as well, including a couple dance. From my makeup to my outfit, everything was perfect. I chose a champagne Shyamal & Bhumika lehenga and my choice couldn’t have been better!”
Haldi
“All pink and yellow, our haldi was held the next day. Given the floral swing set up, my pretty pink outfit by Kassia and my phataka footwear, I felt no less than a princess!”
Wedding
“Our wedding was held later on the same day. Dressed in a Shyamal & Bhumika creation, I walked towards the mandap, under a beautiful phoolon ki chadar! As the rituals went on, I couldn’t control the smile on my face when I realized I could now irritate him forever!”
Advice for Couple
“Wedding jitters are very common and it’s completely okay to feel a little nervous before the big day but rest assured if you have someone who you can be yourself with, know that together you will find unmatched joy and happiness!”
