Wedding Planning
The team of Castles & Coasters was entrusted with the task of bringing the couple’s wedding vision to life. Rooted in family values and traditions, the couple’s love, simplicity, and elegance were channeled throughout the entire planning process. And while their wedding took place in their home city, it was every bit a destination getaway for their guests.
Team Castles & Coasters shares, “The mother of the bride was personally involved in the planning process and it was a delight to see. The bride’s ancestral home was converted into a venue space for the wedding and the entire atmosphere was rich in emotions and the nostalgia of memories. All the events came together beautifully as the bride’s vision materialized into a tapestry of love and legacy. Every occasion was a different canvas – vibrant colors for Mehndi, the serenity of white and pink for the Wedding, and the mystique of black and candles for the Sangeet.
Amidst several unexpected challenges, like elections getting declared around the same period as well as the logistics of managing 5 different hotels and locations for every celebration, one of the most challenging and inspiring hurdles was converting the home into a venue space. It was a bit of a struggle as we had to construct roads and build washrooms and platforms to optimize the space by converting 5 small sections to 3 bigger sections for guest seating and celebrations. However, it all came together and helped us achieve the best possible outcome for their love story!”

Wedding Functions
Bridal Mehndi
Modern and minimalistic, the bride’s mehndi soiree was specially conceptualized at the rooftop modern resto-bar of TARO to reflect the change in time and her journey to where she is today. Sakshi looked radiant in a mint green suit with delicate ivory embroidery and bold pearl jewelry.
Mehndi
Imbibed with a playful, vibrant feel, the outdoor mehndi soiree was brimming with love and laughter as the couple and their loved ones enjoyed a morning of music and dance. Stunning set-ups of bougainvilleas and marigolds added a pop of color to the occasion, while rustic props of jute, wooden pinwheels, and merry-go-rounds added a bohemian, carnival-like feel to the ambiance. Favor stands containing bindi, fabric pouches, and more for the guests added a thoughtful and personal touch.
Sangeet
Hosted in the iconic floating palace of Jagmandir, the Sangeet function saw a night of grandeur. With a vision to highlight and elevate the natural beauty of the place, it was filled with 2500 real wax candles along the pathways along with larger-than-life props and installations, setting an ambiance of elegant decadence. The night was a symphony of heritage, dance, and lively tunes as the couple and their loved ones took to the stage.
Wedding
Held at the bride’s ancestral home in Udaipur, the wedding was a symphony of tender traditions and quaint, heartfelt decor. The soft floral decor of pink and white lotuses, roses, and rajnigandha with bells gently accentuated the entire space, setting a serene ambiance. Dressed in ensembles of ivory and gold, the couple exchanged garlands under a majestic tree in a tranquil ceremony by the water. They then took their pheras in a beautiful floral mandap in the home’s mandir, which featured a striking canopy of white and pink blooms.
The Sajjan Ghot ceremony also took place at home, with warm family moments.
Reception
The festivities came to a glorious end with a lush outdoor Reception brimming with the striking decor of white blooms, 3D floral installations, and shimmering crystals. The newly married bride and groom looked radiant in a cream lehenga and three-piece suit respectively, as they shared moments of love and laughter with their friends and family.
