Wedding Planning
Sofia Mathew and Sidhesh Kandiyil from Watermark Weddings share, “The objective was to create a wedding theme that seamlessly blended the rich cultural elements of Rajasthan, India, with the vibrant essence of Korea, while emphasising a modern and contemporary aesthetic. This approach was particularly significant as the groom hailed from India, while the bride was from Korea.”

Wedding
For the big day, all stops were pulled as the design team crafted a wedding ceremony that gave the multicultural guests a taste of the rich flavors of India. Sidhesh and Sofia share, “ After the sunlit pool party, we transitioned into the evening when the wedding festivities started with a grand baraat. Seora, the bride, made a graceful walk down the aisle with a decor theme reminiscent of a theatrical structure resembling a temple, setting the stage for their varmala ceremony. Amidst this stunning backdrop, the couple exchanged garlands, accompanied by a meticulously choreographed dance performance inspired by the timeless love story of Radha and Krishna. Continuing the festivities, the couple took their pheras in a meticulously crafted octagonal structure with pillars adorned with around 1100 diyas.
Post this, the couple hosted a pastel-hued reception. A beautifully designed stage served as the focal point, featuring an exquisite sofa adorned with pink and white flowers. The venue exuded sophistication with round tables adorned with gold-bordered chairs and rectangular mirror tables.”
