How we met
The bride shares, “Our journey started in 2018 when we were introduced to each other by our parents. Even though we hit it off, we decided to be just friends for a while, as we both were not ready for marriage. However, over the year, our bond grew stronger as we got to know each other better. Pretty soon, we could not live without each other, and we decided to make it official.”
Wedding Planning
“We wanted every bit of the wedding to be really special and memorable. We started off with the simple thought of sending invites with a plant and our logo, which was conceptualized by Good Vibes. Photographs being one of the most important things for us, we researched long and hard to find the perfect team, and we finally picked Knotty Affair by Namit and Vipul. They worked with the utmost patience and were outstanding in the way they handled the whole process.”
Wedding Functions
Sangeet
The grand Sangeet festivities saw rocking performances, stunning décor and a spectacular stage setup. The couple and the loved ones performed beautifully choreographed dances amidst bursts of confetti and cold pyros. The bride twirled in a shimmering lavender lehenga by Mrunalini Rao, while the groom wore a stunning Bandi jacket and kurta combination by Shantanu and Nikhil and Kunal Rawal.
Haldi
A sun-kissed affair of tangerine hues, the auspicious Haldi ceremony saw beautiful rituals and family moments as the bride and groom were doused with turmeric paste, milk and other holy elements. The bride wore an orange and yellow lehenga by Manjula Reddy while the groom wore a whit kurta set by Asmitha Reddy.
Wedding
With a serene, minimalistic décor of white and red blooms, the quaint wedding ceremony was held with beautiful South Indian traditions. The groom looked dazzling in an ice blue sherwani while the bride exuded elegance in a rich bottle green and gold saree with scintillating diamond jewelry. Exchanging gorgeous varmalas of red flowers, the couple was the perfect portrait of love.
