How they met
Madhulika and Tushant crossed paths in Birmingham UK while they were pursuing their masters degree. After 8 years of togetherness, they decided to solidify their commitment for life with a beautiful beach wedding that blended their Marwari and Sindhi cultures into one.

The Proposal
Tushant officially proposed to Madhulika amidst their beautiful pre-wedding shoot in Phuket, Thailand. Since they had been together for almost a decade and had taken the decision to tie the knot organically, there had been no official proposal, which made the occasion all the more surprising and special for Madhulika. With the backdrop of a gorgeous floral set up on a private beach and a fire-show spelling out the words “Will you marry me”, Tushant went down on one knee and popped the question.

Wedding Planning
Drawing inspiration from online portals such as WeddingSutra, Madhulika curated her diverse looks with great care. She shares, “When it comes to outfits, I generally don’t need a big entourage as I trust my own choices, and selected each one myself. However, I have always valued the opinions of my husband and sought his take on the choices.” Her outfits ranged from traditional to western, each with its own distinct flavor and look. Being a makeup lover, the bride wanted to create her own makeup and hair look for at least one of the events, and did so for the unplugged night. She was given dewy, youthful looks for all other events by Shruti Bhatt.

Wedding Functions

Unplugged Night
For the Sufi themed unplugged night, the bride kept her look dainty and minimalistic. She paired her intricately embroidered choli with a flowing blush skirt and cape from Kalki Fashion. Greatly talented at makeup, she created her own look of dewy cheeks and soft coral lips that added a dose of freshness to her look, and she left her soft, wavy tresses open.

Mehndi
For the sundowner mehndi, the bride embodied the breezy, bohemian theme in a stylish co-ord set of a crop top and flared trousers in mint green, topped off with an elaborately embroidered floor length jacket by Kalki Fashion. The popping coral tones of her floral jewelry were perfectly matched by the youthful peach tones of her makeup.

Cocktail
For the glam Sangeet and Cocktail festivities, the bride envisioned a chic, poised look and opted for a lavender sheath, sequined gown from Gaurav Gupta’s latest collection. The signature elaborately structured neck line was perfectly accented by a statement diamond necklace, while the bride left her ears bare to balance the look. Sleek open hair with a stylish side part, soft smokey eyes and glossy rose toned lips pulled the look together.

Wedding
“Picking my wedding lehenga from Falguni and Shane Peacock was very special, going back to the time when I bought my first outfit from the brand and instantly falling in love with their aesthetics. I had always known I would be an FSP bride one day” shares the bride. She exuded feminine elegance in a custom-made intricately crafted lehenga in pastel hues of blush and mint, which was perfectly accessorized with statement polki jewelry. Rose gold eyes with a bold winged liner added some edge to her look, balanced by her soft peach pout.
