Behind The Scenes – The Club Mumbai
Witness the beauty of Indian culture and traditions with Kalyan Jewellers and Lakmé Absolute.
India is a melting pot of cultures and regional identities, showcased by beautiful customs and traditions. Often, these are best expressed through the uniquely-crafted garments and ornaments that celebrate the history and heritage of that particular ethnicity.
In the latest edition of the WeddingSutra on Location, Kalyan Jewellers adorned these Sindhi, Punjabi and Nizaami brides with their exquisite bridal jewelry from their Muhurat Wedding Collection. The collection features the best of bridal designs created and curated from around the country. It is a mélange of stunning traditional and contemporary designs, including temple jewelry, polki, traditional diamond pieces, gemstone jewelry and more – ideal for every bride’s trousseau.
The gorgeous brides donned outfits from Disha Patil, Avvantika S Parwani and Aarti Mahtani. Stylist Shikha Dhandhia styled their ensembles with jewelry from Kalyan Jewellers, which enhanced the beauty of their individual regional styles. Makeup artist Richa Thakkar gave each of the brides’ hairstyles that complemented their bridal makeup, applied to perfection with her arsenal of products from Lakmé Absolute. She used a host of different products to suit each bride’s features and skin type. Some of her favorites to work with included Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in Nude Beach and Lakmé Absolute Matte Ultimate Lip Color in the shade Chocolate Brownie, which is enriched with argan oil for supple, glam lips.
Moments of the day were captured by the team from Knotty Affair by Namit and Vipul, who took photos that will be treasured by the brides for a lifetime.
