Shot at the mesmerizing Vidyadhar Ji Bagh in Jaipur, Anita Dongre presents her first ever fashion video – The Jaipur Bride. Shot with the stunning model Jyothsna Chakravarthy, the video has been realized by ace cinematographer Colston Julian. The two minute enthralling video showcases bridal wear from Anita Dongre’s Timeless label, including some of Anita Dongre’s signature lehengas with exquisite Gota Patti handwork done by artisans in Jaipur.
So how and where can brides pick Anita Dongre’s creations? “At the moment my bridal store is at Phoenix Mills, Mumbai only, and I don’t have plans to open a bridal store in any other city”, says Dongre who has earned an enviable reputation for being a designer with a solid pret label that retails in several stores in India. Unlike many other senior designers who first established their bridal label and then moved into pret, Dongre took a totally different route. “And I’m glad I tread a different path”, she quips.
