Bringing the wonders of winter to Pune, this couple’s engagement ceremony generously used silver and blue hues to create a magical ambience

Fusing the best of cool-toned hues and delicate blooms, Sanika Agarwal and Yash Mittal’s engagement bash was a magical one. Transporting the guests away from the toasty weather of Pune to a ‘winter wonderland’, this engagement celebration was designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Ever After India.
Yugandara Tayade from Ever After India shares what the couple had in mind as they approached the mood board, “Since this was the first event, the couple was very keen on making an impact. Once we started brainstorming, we understood that they wanted a theme that was magical and dreamy. The groom, especially, was enthusiastic about the ‘Winter Wonderland’ theme and once we presented our ideas, the bride was just as pleased.”
In tandem with the theme, the chosen colour palette for the event consisted of cool-toned blues, lavender tints, chrome elements, silver sequins and acrylic furnishings. The look was further accentuated by shimmering tablecloths and LED candles that cast a soft golden glow over the proceedings. Arches decorated with sequins flanked the comfy sofas placed strategically for the guests to lounge in while latticework tables gave the ambience a touch of old-school elegance. A bouquet of flowers consisting of lilies, baby’s breath and roses were kept as centerpieces.
Making a massive statement within the indoor venue was a vast stage where the couple exchanged rings. With a dark backdrop that flaunted the couple’s monogram in gold letters, the stage was also decorated with shimmering arches and white blooms. Gifts for the bride and groom were proudly displayed with dedicated stands to hold the gifts while the couple’s dog, named Chow Chow, was the adorable ring bearer that made everyone smile!
