Devika Sakhuja Creates A Vintage Masterpiece By Painting This Venue Crimson Red

Red, the fiery color of love, makes for the perfect color palette for fall and winter receptions. While pastels are a more popular trend these days, wedding designer and decorator Devika Sakhuja went a step further and added a deep crimson touch to the venue at Amaara Farms in Delhi.

Devika Sakhuja also set up retro decor near the bar area with deep-red flowy drapes and decorated the place with warm vintage lamps that came with tassels hanging down from the ceiling.

The decor featured combinations of intensive thread-work, straw lamps, opulent velvet fabrics for the lounges, along with fresh fruit and a mixed bunch of red flowers and greens as centerpieces for the tables. The venue was lit up with Edison bulbs, lamps, and soft lights, and the indoors were done in contrast to the outdoors by playing with abstract patterns and textures in a monotone color palette to give a minimal, modern vibe.

The classic dinner setting was the highlight of the evening with red blooms running across the center of the table. Accompanying the table layout were authentic silver show plates, glassware and candle stands that created a mesmerizing effect. A canopy of greens and soft lights around the table arrangements lent a classic vintage charm to the setting.
