Our Favourite Destination Wedding Looks Of 2019

This year has been all about playing with different colors and experimenting with patterns and textures. As we come close to the beginning of a new decade, we’d like to take stock and make a special mention of the real brides of 2019 who shared their destination wedding stories with us, and topped our list of the most inspiring looks of this year.

1. Pretty and Pink
For her wedding in Gurugram, Lalima wore a fuschia lehenga by Abhinav Mishra with lots of mirror work on it. On Abhinav’s recommendation, she teamed her lehenga with two blush dupattas.

2. Fine in Wine
Nithya wore a regal wine-colored Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble for her Sindhi wedding in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It stood out elegantly against the delicate pastel palette of the mandap and decor.

3. Dreamy and totally Filmy
Doesn’t Sadhna remind you of Anushka Sharma on her wedding day? She wore a similar white lehenga with muted pink and green embroidery from Asiana Couture for her celebrations in Udaipur.

4. Coral and Floral
Jaskirat wore a beautiful ivory, coral and green lehenga by Anita Dongre, with intricate floral embroidery work at her wedding in the Splash Beach Resort, Phuket. The gorgeous bride’s ensemble stood out against the dreamy backdrops at the venue.

5. Shimmer and Shine
Chandrika Bora wore a glamorous yet elegant number by Manish Malhotra for her reception. The shimmering lehenga with intricate detailing, pearl embellishments and long capped sleeves looked mesmerizing against the beautiful architecture across the Mansion Hotel & Spa at Werribee Park, Melbourne.

6. Something Blue without the Wedding Blues
Palak looked gorgeous in a royal blue lehenga with multi-colored applique work, designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, for her mehendi function at The Ananta, Udaipur.

7. A Dream in Cream
Yashna looked serene in an intricately-embroidered cream organza-silk lehenga with a contemporary crop top blouse by Anita Dongre. She paired her outfit with kundan jewelry for her wedding day in Langkawi, Malaysia.

8. Bright and Blazing
Ishita chose a purple lehenga from Akanksha Gajria for her mehndi function in Shimla, which she personalized. Owing to its floral work, Ishita named her outfit the ‘Falling Flower Lehenga’.

9. All things mellow in pastel yellow
Pratibha wore a bright yellow lehenga from Frontier Bazaar in Karol Bagh for her the sangeet night. Her choker set completed her elegant bridal look.

10. Green for the bridal queen
Krupa’s traditional mehndi ceremony was given a modern twist with a green Sabyasachi lehenga that featured huge blooms. Her exquisite ornaments resonated with the colour palette of the décor and that boho-braid was the perfect hairdo.

11. All things beige on the centre stage
Sanchita picked a beige and gold silk lehenga from Abhinav Mishra’s collection. A pair of comfortable Needledust juttis and minimal jewellery matched her ensemble perfectly.

12. Bloom with the groom
Roma’s floral lehenga by Anushree Reddy with large red roses bloomed all over the powder blue outfit and a pink dupatta with golden zari work matched perfectly with the groom’s floral jacket.
