From perfumes to spices, this Bahrain wedding had a souk recreated to keep the guests entertained!

Full of opulence and grandiose, this magnificient wedding, organized by two WeddingSutra Favorites – Arika Event and DreamzKrraft, was full of awe-inspiring occasions enjoyed by gleeful guests.
Wedding Functions
Mehendi
The Bollywood-themed mehendi ceremony had decor full of vibrant pops of color. Meticulously-planned and executed by DreamzKrraft, the decor consisted of bright and sunny yellow blooms which were paired in perfect contrast with deep-blue flowers. With matching cushions, photo props and placards, the mehendi ceremony was indeed an Instagram-worthy affair! The wedding planners engaged guests with a fun game of musical housie, which really amped up the party mood.
Glam Night
Arika Event hosted a glitzy Glam Night that had the guests feeling like movie stars. The decor consisted of luminous baubles that created a magical aura. Local Bahraini belly dancers entertained everyone with their stellar performances, making it an evening to remember.
Champagne Brunch
A Moroccon-themed champagne brunch was hosted the next day. Complete with a wine and cheese pairing activity, the brunch was a relaxing break from the hectic events schedule. White dominated the decor, with charming elements such as a vertical garden, a wood-themed bar, dreamcatchers and umbrellas. The brunch was a fun-filled jamboree filled jamboree with dancing and celebration.
Sangeet
The decor for the sangeet was traditionally Indian, featuring ethnic prints and motifs in pastel shades. Vintage-styled props, floral swings and tuberose flowers gave the venue an ethereal appeal. DJ Alex and his team of musicians made sure that the guests were entertained and danced to his beats.
Souk Bazaar
This one-of-its-kind event, planned and executed by Arika Event, recreated an entire Bahraini market at the gardens of Hotel Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. Here, guests could indulge in some exciting local shopping right at the hotel. An array of local products like perfumes, dates, spices and local fabrics were available. The Souk Bazaar was indeed an event that the guests loved. Ending the event on a high note, guests were treated to a delicious lunch of Bahraini local food and drinks. Bhavin Shastri, with his surreal voice, entertained everyone by singing Sufi melodies.
Wedding
The wedding was the most picturesque of all the events due to the gorgeous play of colors by Arika Event. Set against a beautiful backdrop of the blue skies melding with the pristine sea was the wedding mandap, which was predominately red with gold accents. Fresh flowers were strewn around the venue, with alluring centrepieces and strings of lights adding to the fairytale vibe.
