This couple hosted a royal wedding in Jaipur after registering their marriage in the US

Newlyweds Vrinda and Vihang first met during their college days in the US. Vrinda, who is shy and an introvert by nature, was wooed by Vihang who happily displayed his culinary skills on their date nights. Their love slowly began to blossom and they decided to take it to the next level. They chose WeddingSutra Favorite – Fiestro Events to plan their extravagant Jaipur wedding and booked the experts of WeddingSutra Favorite – Infinite Memories to turn their special moments into lasting memories.

Sangeet Ceremony - Vrinda and Vihang

Vihang recalls, “As it was initially planned, we had a court marriage in America. Our parents planned a small surprise traditional wedding for us on the same day. When we got back to my apartment from the court, there was a priest ready with everything to perform the wedding ceremony.”

After this rushed and intimate traditional wedding ceremony at home, the couple felt like a lot of family and friends had missed out on their special day. Vrinda also started feeling a void in her heart since she had always dreamed of having a fairytale wedding. So, once they settled into their new lives, the couple decided to have a proper wedding this time around.

Since the bride was Rajasthani, the couple went with the iconic traditional wedding destination – Jaipur, the capital city of the desert state of Rajasthan. They decided to go with The Vijayran Palace by Royal Quest Resorts as it was situated in a serene location away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Vihang shares, “Our wedding planners Fiestro Events went above and beyond to make this day special for us. Vrinda, being the creative one, was involved in all the events from the beginning to the end. Sajjan and Riddhi have a fantastic team and they take keen interest in your vision to ensure that they deliver the wedding of your dreams. Our photographers, Mohit and his team from Infinite Memories were amazing when it came to capturing moments that we will cherish as memories forever. They are such visual artists that I would recommend them to everyone.”

Wine and Dine
The wedding celebrations kicked off with a spectacular welcoming evening for the guests with a light show performance, followed by a regal dinner at the Nahargarh Fort.

Wedding
For the wedding, Vrinda chose a red lehenga-choli ensemble with intricate golden zari design. The lehenga had two dupattas one red and another white tulle dupatta featuring gold and red embroidered motifs. She completed her regal look with a delicate kamarbandh, maang tikka, necklace and earrings. To match his bride, Vihang picked an elegant ivory embroidered sherwani which he paired with a pastel pink dupatta, red beaded jewellery and a turban with a red brooch. The couple’s wedding unfolded like a royal affair against the backdrop of the majestic palace.
