Sharing the brief they received from the couple and how it influenced their creativity as planners, Shobhit Jain from The Event Casa shares, “The couple was keen on having an elegant affair that matched their tastes. The bride in particular, had a very unique taste and entrusted us to make each event a hit! It was essential for us to go out of the box when it came to the planning and decor of every event. Each theme and its related elements were discussed and organized in great detail. In fact, we even pre-planned the kind of flowers we would use for every event! It was an exhilarating experience for us and watching all of it unfolding together so perfectly made us feel so grateful.”

Explaining how they went about orchestrating the functions in order to match the couple’s vision, Ashi Tanwar from The Event Casa recollects, “The bride and groom had complete clarity on how they wanted their wedding to be which was incredibly refreshing. Moreover, they handed the reigns over to us and trusted every decision we made! With this in mind, we gave their wedding all we had by decoding the couple’s personalities and working on making their dream a reality.” The bride goes on to share, “The entire team worked relentlessly and went that extra mile to understand us and our personalities. They took note of every detail that we wanted and delivered the wedding beautifully.” Also, The Event Casa didn’t just help the couple plan their wedding. In fact, they also helped the groom execute a dreamy proposal for his bride. Shobhit shares, “Merely a week before the wedding, the groom requested us to help him plan a proposal at the venue. Enthusiastic about the prospect, we crafted a decor that consisted of fairy lights and rose petals, the rose being the bride’s favorite flower! The proposal took place on a scenic balcony and the promises that the to-be groom wanted to make to his bride were displayed across the aisle. Needless to say, the bride was blown away with this gesture!”

Kicking off the celebrations was a bohemian-themed welcome dinner which was hosted under the starry sky. Ashi shares, “The decor was peppered with bright lights and included a bonfire that kept everyone warm. A romantic yet rustic color palette was chosen for the occasion and the cozy atmosphere put the guests at ease! White blooms and pampas grass gave a dash of elegance to the dinner, while guests enjoyed the chilly night under the open sky as they nibbled on delicious treats.”

Next came the Haldi event which was a dazzling sea of warm hues! Shobhit shares, “Hosted in a spacious courtyard, the Haldi ceremony was traditional and intimate. An unconventional combination of tuberoses, gold gota tassels and Indian elements was dispersed across the sun kissed lawns. Adding to the beauty were white drapes that swayed in the breeze along with green and golden elements that tied in perfectly with the traditional vibe we were aiming for.” The Myraa event was also inspired by tradition as Ashi explains, “Taking a cue from the Shibori tie-dye technique, the event flaunted a royal theme. It also consisted of a luncheon where the guests were in for a visual treat, and they also looked upon the mix of prints and patterns that were accentuated by a stunning blue hue. Overall, this was an apt theme for a sunny, fun-filled afternoon.”

After the traditionally themed events, the couple wanted to opt for a unique theme and The Event Casa was quick to deliver a glitzy tropical-themed sangeet! Shobhit shares, “The sangeet was plush with a touch of whimsy. Wildflowers, cane baskets and LED neon signages were combined to create a mood board that was in sync with our bride’s style. She wanted an out-of-the-box sangeet and that is exactly what we gave her!”

For the big day, no stone was left unturned as the planning team went in full throttle to create a wedding that was nothing less than a dream! Ashi shares, “The theme we followed for the wedding was ‘pretty in pink’ as the couple had zeroed in on a pink-hued mandap whose pillars were adorned with a variety of pink blooms. Artfully displayed, pastel pink drapes blended in perfectly with the rest of the decor to create a romantic atmosphere for the traditional Marwari wedding. The bridal entry had everyone emotional and teary eyed where the aisle was filled with dry ice and a flower shower to add drama. As the bride and groom reached the platform and faced each other to exchange Varmalas, the whole lawn lit up with cold pyros and it was a show stopping moment!”

Ashi adds, “The wedding was coincidentally on Valentine’s Day and both the bride and groom wanted to host a special Valentine’s Day breakfast for all their guests. A chocolate cart with a quirky ‘spin the wheel’ game was brought in during breakfast which resulted in a fun morning. The groom also surprised the bride by having the bridal suite decorated with a sweet message teamed with pastel-hued balloons, flower petals and personalized cupcakes.”

A meticulously planned regal reception dinner gave the three-day celebrations a fitting end. Shobhit shares, “Oversized pink drapes were drawn across the lawn under a starry sky. The rose gold and black palette gave the venue’s spacious and lush Mewar Lawns a surreal look and feel which the guests marveled at. In hindsight, I think the key to our success was a wisely curated mood board for each event which was in tandem with what the couple had in mind!”
