This vibrant Goa wedding was a celebration of all things ‘Sun, Sand, & Sea’!

Brimming with colours and full of life, Jasmine and Sagar’s dream destination wedding in Goa was artfully crafted by WeddingSutra Favourite- Atrezzo Decor to capture their tastes and personalities. From the quirky Haldi centrepieces to the breezy mandap by the ocean, witness every detail come to life.
Wedding Planning
The US-based couple sought a relaxed wedding getaway, and the vibe of Caravela Beach Resort in Goa ticked all the boxes! Taskeen and her team at Atrezzo Decor spearheaded the design and execution of the wedding decor. Sharing her insight, she says, “With the couple being overseas, we started with a couple of Zoom meetings. Fortunately, we had a great understanding pertaining to the overall look and feel of the celebration, which allowed us to be on the same page throughout.
With the apt freedom of exploring and planning events in accordance with the planner, the experience of crafting the wedding was very good. They had a clear vision for the Decor for their functions, so we personalised the themes according to ideas, with “Sun, Sand, & Sea” being the focus of everything.” Of course, there were hiccups like in any project, but everything worked out seamlessly”.
Reflecting on the experience, the bride shares, “We first started dating at 13 years old and ever since then I have been imagining my dream wedding. Taskeen did an amazing job bringing this vision to life and making my dream a reality”.
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
Drenched in a splash of colours, the indoor Mehndi function saw a lively decor palette of red, orange, and green, decked with bright drapes, exotic blooms, and vibrant cushions. Rattan hangings and marigolds added a traditional flavour to the occasion.
Haldi
A fun outdoor celebration by the beach, the Haldi was imagined in bright hues of yellow and blue in keeping with the ambiance and spirit of the occasion! Billowing drapes hung overhead while vibrant floral arrangements, tropical foliage, quirky trucks, and jars of lemons as centrepieces added to the eclectic energy of the function. The air was filled with marigold petals as guests showered the couple with love and flowers.
Wedding
Orchestrated in a romantic palette of pinks and purples, the sunset wedding painted a pretty picture against the hotel’s lush lawns! The Pinterest-worthy decor saw stacked flower vases and candles, an adorable display of the couple’s photos, beautiful floral patterned overlays, cushions, throws, and more. A distressed wooden gateway decked with flowers opened up to the venue, making for an aesthetic bridal entry as Jasmine made her way down the acrylic aisle flanked with flowers on both sides. Crafted with blooms, drapes, and wooden rafters, the mandap framed their nuptials beautifully against the backdrop of the ocean and the amber horizon.
Reception
The Wedding ceremony was followed by a formal Reception on the lawns, lit up with an abundance of fairy lights and a massive LED display of the couple’s hashtag #JASAGARKEPAAS. The occasion saw cosy corners with teepees for the guests, a life-size mirror frame at the entrance for photographs, glitzy overlays and throws, and more. Framed by a structure of flowers and chandeliers, the couple had the first dance surrounded by mist and cut a beautiful 3-layered cake.
