A Rajasthani sagai, a blue-fuschia haldi and opulent pheras– this couple’s destination wedding was a flamboyant one!

Glamour and tradition were the keywords at Bhumiti and Divy’s destination wedding in Udaipur where they celebrated amidst Rajasthani hospitality surrounded by the beauty of the Aravalli Range. Each event shone through with unique themes planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Valiant Events.
Wedding Planning
For their destination wedding celebrations in Udaipur, the couple chose Valiant Events who with their expertise ensured the couple had a smooth and unforgettable experience. Vatsal Marvania from Valiant Events gives us an overview of the wedding, “The wedding was set against the stunning backdrop of Aravalli Hills. For the couple, guest comfort came first and we did everything in our power to accommodate the guests comfortably during the three-day festivities. The logistics were on point for the wedding and we chose a different space for every event to make each one of them unique.”
Wedding Functions
Sagai
Vatsal shares, “Since we were in Udaipur, we took this opportunity to give the guests a taste of true Rajasthani hospitality. Showcasing Indian elements right next to a plethora of vibrant hues, classical musicians and sumptuous feast – it’s safe to say that, the international attendees were thrilled!”
Engagement Party
For the engagement party, glamor got a leg-up with glitzy set-ups and groovy beats. Vatsal shares, “Everything at this event was insta-worthy. Right from the all-gold entrance tunnel, the tropical glam dancefloor to the DJ booth! After the ring exchange, it was a big dance party where everyone freely shook a leg while the DJ played energetic tunes!”
Haldi
Instead of the usual all-yellow haldi setup, the couple was keen on going for an unconventional look. Vatsal and his team ensured the duo were in for a treat as they planned a gorgeous blue-pottery-themed haldi. Vatsal shares, “Bhumiti and Divy, both, wanted to go for something different. Hence, we went ahead with the blue-pottery-themed haldi that also reflected the Rajasthani culture. Teepees, blue pottery vases, breezy canopies and fuschia bougainvillaeas gave the outdoor event a unique look.”
Bollywood Night
Vatsal shares, “Everything about this event was just grand! The decor setups were larger-than-life and Bollywood tunes were all over the place! Graceful performances kept the guests mesmerized while the monochrome decor gave the venue a sleek look. Jonita Gandhi had everyone swaying till the wee hours of the morning!”
Carnival
After the rigors of the electrifying Bollywood Night, everyone let their hair down at the carnival. Pastel hues dominated the color palette while carnival artists, interactive stalls, games and a delicious spread had everyone relaxing!
Wedding
For the wedding, everything was regal and grand! Vatsal shares, “The varmala took place at a different venue than the pheras. A huge painting of Shiva and Parvati gave the event an auspicious feel while thousands of scarlet roses gave it an opulent look. Vintage candelabras, pictures of dearly missed family members and suspended blooms adorned the white-gold mandap.”
