A tropical carnival to a Foreverland-inspired concert – this couple raised the glam bar high as they renewed their vows on their 25th wedding anniversary!

Pulling all the stops regarding the style quotient, Madhu and Neeraj Gupta celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with grandeur and lots of love. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – The WeddingWale, the celebration witnessed everyone having a gala time as they celebrated the resilience of the couple’s love.
A silver marriage anniversary deserves to be celebrated with utmost glamour and for The WeddingWale everything just had to be perfect. Sharing the couple’s vision for the celebration and how the team went about orchestrating every event, Reetu Jain from The WeddingWale shares, “For their 25th anniversary, the couple wanted unique themes at every event which had to be fun, personalized and classy. The couple and their guests wanted to be able to relax, have fun, and create beautiful memories that will be cherished for years to come.”
She adds, “The celebration featured a series of themed events, starting with a nautical-themed welcome lunch, followed by a Versace-themed cocktail evening, a tropical carnival, and a Tomorrowland-inspired Foreverland party. Each event had its own distinctive décor and was planned with the couple’s tastes in mind.”
Baywatch Fest
Reetu shares, “Named as the ‘Baywatch Fest’, it was a nautical-themed welcome lunch that embraced the coastal charm of Goa. To ensure a personalized experience, we had artists in nautical attire welcoming guests with customized nautical-themed cookies and shell necklaces. The guests were also presented with a custom nautical-themed tote bag as a welcome hamper, which included a boat-shaped welcome letter, themed luggage tags, and luxurious bath bombs.
We also equipped the event with live musicians playing soothing tunes, and a ‘write a note to the couple’ wall, where guests could pen down their heartfelt messages for the couple. In short, the guests were left feeling like they had been transported to a seaside paradise!”
Versace Cocktail
Reetu shares, “For the evening celebrations, we planned a high-fashion-themed cocktail party that would embody the grandeur of Versace. We aimed to create an ambience of luxury and glamour with a red carpet entrance, vintage walls, and a photo booth inspired by the Versace logo. Adding a dash of thrill was also the inclusion of fake paparazzi who welcomed the guests with their flashing cameras.
The couple’s entry was the highlight of the evening, with a grand entrance that set the tone for the rest of the night. To add to the entertainment, we had planned surprise dance performances from family and friends and a dance performance by the couple themselves, complete with props! The night ended with an energetic after-party featuring Sukhbir, one of Bollywood’s favourite singers, where everyone let loose and danced the night away, making it an unforgettable experience.”
Let’s Get Tropic
For the next event, relaxation was in order! Reetu shares, “The atmosphere was a playful one where everyone could just let their hair down! Bubbles and personalized coconuts were used to greet the guests and we also provided handheld fans to them to keep the heat at bay. The decor was straight out of a Pinterest board as it looked picture-perfect with bright colours and tropical foliage. A DJ also added energetic music to the mix.
In my opinion, I think we nailed Goa’s laid-back vibe while infusing every detail with luxury and style.”
Foreverland
Saving the best for the last and giving everyone a glitzy event at the end, the planning team had its hands full as they orchestrated a ‘Foreverland’ themed event. Reetu recollects, “Perfection was key here as we transformed the venue into a concert-themed wonderland, featuring modern arches. The celebration began with a baraat that included a vintage car, setting the tone for a magical evening. And, the couple renewed their vows in a beautifully decorated ceremony.
The highlight of the evening was a mesmerizing performance by professional dancers and celebrity singer Mansheel Gujral’s performance added to the charm of the night. Ending the event was a stunning firework display which was an incredible ode to the couple’s everlasting love.”
