Abundant in blooms with a white and red color palette, this couple’s destination wedding was a regal extravaganza!

A grand celebration where Anchal and Lakshay revelled in their love while being surrounded by their loved ones, this wedding was extravagant from the beginning to the end! Planned and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Soiree Edit, the couple could easily sit back and savour every moment as the planning team used their expertise to orchestrate events with varied concepts.

Wedding planning is an intricate task where planners are tasked with understanding the long cherished dreams of a couple along with their personas. Tanya Pawa from The Soiree Edit shares, “The challenge lay in creating a concept wherein the space would look different for each function. We had almost no time to change the structures and we had to be very versatile with whatever we came up with. Even though it was a challenge, it was quite fun as the couple trusted us completely. And, in the end, seeing all the designs and concepts come to life was an amazing experience.”

First in line for the January wedding was the cocktail party where the couple had a gala time grooving to their favourite beats. Tanya from The Soiree Edit shares, “For the cocktail, the duo was keen on going with funky elements. True to their vision, we went for LED lights that were accentuated by blooms. Frames with LED were specially crafted for the event in the form of a lantern on which flowers were installed. Additionally, the overhead canopy was filled with foliage and the dancefloor flaunted a tropical print to give the entire venue a jungle-like vibe.

Next was the haldi where the couple chose an unconventional route by opting for shades of blue that were interspersed with yellow hues. Bride Anchal shares, “We didn’t want the usual all-yellow theme and hence, we went for a dash of blue to add that freshness to the venue. Plus, the blue also complemented the yellow outfits that everyone wore. Mandala art, suspended blooms, striped tablecloths and quirky wall hangings made for a refreshing change from the array of marigolds one usually sees at haldi events.”

Planner Tanya shares, “For the big day, we went all in to give the couple the royal wedding they’d been dreaming of! A color palette of white and red was the first choice as it is a beautiful classic combination. Rajnigandha and roses were generously used throughout the outdoor venue. For opulence, we used chandeliers, ethnic lotus prints and rich scarlet fabric. An installation of Lord Shreenathji at the entry added auspiciousness to the evening.”
