A beach mandap, quirky decor and stunning views made Ritu and Kaushal’s Thailand wedding a spectacular affair

The wedding of Ritu and Kushal in Thailand was a parade of beautiful festivities which were captured in perfect frames by WeddingSutra Favorite – Ishaaq Petiwala. The exotic vistas of The Palayana Hua Hin provided gorgeous backdrops, as seen in these captivating pictures.
How they met
Ritu was introduced to Kushal by a mutual friend at a birthday party. The two instantly clicked like a house on fire and have been inseparable ever since. Shared taxi rides brought them closer to each other and the rest, as we all know, is history.
Wedding Functions
Kushal and Ritu share a moment away from the crowd, right before all the wedding madness begins.
The wedding festivities kickstarted with the auspicious Kankotri ceremony.
The Kankotri or Wedding Invitation card was offered to the Gods to welcome them to bless the couple.
The rituals were followed with a fun haldi ceremony in which the groom’s friends smeared turmeric paste on him.
Pretty bride Ritu dresses in vibrant orange poses for the cameras with her color-coordinated bridesmaids.
A beautiful lavender mandap for the pheras was erected on the golden beach, in front of the beautiful waves.
Ritu was the quintessential blushing bride decked up in all her finery.
Ritu and her bridesmaids recreated the iconic ‘Veere Di Wedding’ bridal entry moment for shutterbugs.
The groom made an entry on a quirky tuk-tuk and his baraat accompanied him with dancing and cheer.
Kanyadaan – an extremely emotional moment for Ritu’s father as he gave away his beloved daughter to Kushal.
Kushal tied the holy mangalsutra thread around Ritu’s neck thereby promising eternal togetherness.

The bride put up a spectacular performance on stage with her squad, which delighted guests at the reception.
