We felt it resonated with what a marriage should be – something meant to last forever, no matter what happens, must be treated with love and care.”

Anisha and Aviral’s love for each other found affinity with this property and elevated the mood of their shoot significantly. While capturing their romance in the ornate passages and on the elegant staircases of the hotel, Candid Wedding Stories made sure to highlight the ease they felt in their surroundings. “This hotel is very close to both our hearts. Aviral stays there whenever he visits Mumbai, and we typically caught up with each other at one of the hotel’s dining outlets or some other eatery around that area whenever he flew down. The hotel was the place where we had our first date, and we also hosted our ‘roka’ ceremony there,” said Anisha.

The palace in the fairytale that Purva dreamt up for herself as a child stood in the city she grew up in. Having always wanted to have Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur as a part of her wedding celebrations, her prince charming planned for her not just a stay but also a photoshoot at the world’s sixth-largest private residence. “We’ve always loved the Taj Falaknuma Palace property but the photoshoot was a spontaneous plan. We got in touch with the hotel officials to fulfill all the pre-wedding shoot requirements and also stayed at the property for two days! The hotel is amazing and has such a royal feel. When we weren’t shooting, we spent all our time exploring the property, dining there and having a good time!” said Nabila.

The historic city of Udaipur is a land of legacies and its wonder is evident in its many sites and structures; yet, there is a certain charisma that the Taj Lake Palace hotel exudes, unique to this heritage hotel. In this beautiful setting, Meha and Nikunj discovered love and laughter, deftly captured by Anoop Padalkar during their pre-wedding photoshoot. Meha said, “Our photographer Anoop helped us throughout the shoot. Initially, it was a little challenging for both of us to face the camera but Anoop helped us feel comfortable. The palace was so pretty in itself that we did not really source many props. The warm hospitality of the staff there made the entire experience even more memorable for us.”

Overlooking the twinkling City of Pearls, Taj Falaknuma Palace made for an enchanting location for yet another couple’s pre-wedding photoshoot. Soon after their engagement, Jyotsna and Abhijeet took to the expansive 32-acre grounds of the property to capture pictures that encapsulated an ageless charm that was heightened by the beauty of this royal residence from the gilded ages. Talking about the shoot Jyostna said, “Our photo session carried a royal theme for which this hotel offered the most beautiful backdrops. Sunny Dhiman and his photography team came all the way from Chandigarh to Hyderabad. The team was very cordial to work with which is why I was able to give my best despite the fact that I am otherwise quite reserved.”
