Wedding Planning
Fun, vibrant individuals with distinctive tastes, Vardhan and Shivani had completely different ideas for what they wanted their wedding to include. While Vardhan wanted a loud, Tomorrowland-style techno extravaganza, Shivani desired subtle, classy, yet unique concepts. They entrusted Castle Rock Events who worked in tandem with them to align their visions and curate a celebration that ticked off all boxes. while Team Baraati Inc to iron out the details and plan a wedding with panache.

Reflecting on the experience, they share, “We had a great time working with the Castle Rock Events Team. The way Pooja and Vanessa understood and implemented what we had envisioned was commendable. We did receive a lot of compliments for the decoration of our events, especially the Phera ceremony and Global Village Carnival.”

Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
The welcome dinner was a small intimate gathering with a relaxed, Bohemian vibe. Imagined in tones of rust, terracotta, and beige, the decor was filled with elements like dry palms and flowers, macrame art, wicker furniture and wooden pieces that all came together to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Customized welcome notes with macrame coasters were set out for every guest. It was a cozy evening by the pool as both families came together to kickstart the celebrations.

Sangeet
Inspired by the groom’s love for deep purple and indigo hues, the Sangeet theme of Celestial Blues set a dreamy, whimsical ambiance for the starry night celebration. A rich, classy tone of royal blue paired with gold accents and celestial details through 3D props and custom constellation cards of the time the couple first met. A shimmering waterbody under the starlit night ceiling made for the most magnificent entrance decor, complete with lanterns, floating candles, and a lush floral garden. Lounges with constellation ceiling details, 3D star props, velvet blue furniture, and a jaali cut outer frame fit right into the theme.

Global Village
Inspired by their shared wanderlust and the memories of their travels across the globe, a global fiesta was organized to give their guests a taste of every distinct destination where the couple spent time together! The Dubai Souk saw custom structures depicting Dubai architecture, each of which offered a unique Souk experience, such as textiles, artifacts, spices, and perfumes. Low traditional seating with plush cushions and delicate details made this a crowd favorite.

As an ode to Leonarda Da Vinci, the Milan corner on the other hand saw Roman pillars and vintage furniture and offered treats like gelato, pizza, and pasta to offer the ultimate Italian foodie experience. The Singapore Corner, on the other hand, took inspiration from the famous “Gardens of the Bay”, and took guests on a street food tour. As guests sat on picnic tables and enjoyed delicious eats, they enjoyed live stage music that recreated the couple’s memories of Universal Studios Singapore.

The Sydney Corner was brimming with beach vacation vibes, and saw boho macrame art elements, lazy beach chairs, and a caravan bar, Surfboards were added to bring to life the Bondi beach and Gold Coast culture of Sydney.

Wedding
Combining Vardhan’s vision of a grand, royal ceremony and Shivani’s desire for modern elegance, the wedding was imagined with a mesmerizing mandap of crystals and flowers against the tranquil backdrop of the ocean. Soothing tones of blush pink and cream were added through stunning blooms, chic furniture, and plush fabrics, while the Varmala stage was imagined in a royal Lotus shape and was adorned with a floral garden. It truly was an ethereal evening, filled with love and joy.
