Preeti and Dinesh Kathuria tied the knot with an awe-inspiring destination getaway amidst the golden dunes of Jaisalmer. Wedding Planning
From finding the perfect venue and designing the invites to planning and executing every last detail, the entire wedding was orchestrated in just 17 days. Hosting the celebrations at the stunning Jaisalmer Marriott Resort and Spa, the couple brought on board the team of Ever After India to pull off this seemingly impossible task. The bride shares, “They say it takes a village, and our wedding experience showed us how true that is! With so little time to plan a dream wedding, finding the right wedding planners is key. Yuga and her team were calm, composed, and divine to work with, keeping the communications crisp and solutions doable. While being thorough professionals, they carry a deep passion for their work and understand that a wedding can bring out big emotions. They did more than what was needed to ensure the experience was unforgettable for us”.

Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
The festivities kicked off with a plush welcome dinner. The indoor soiree saw atmospheric decor with jewel-toned lighting, foliage structures, rich floral arrangements, and more. Sporting ensembles of a chic English blue hue, the couple made their first appearance amidst great cheers.
Mehendi
The next morning began with a mehndi function brimming with colorful decor and lively moments. Brightly colored drapes, flowers, quirky local crafts, prints, and textures made up the decor, lighting up the palatial courtyard.
Sangeet
Hosted on the iconic Bordi Dunes, the Sangeet evening was the highlight of the destination wedding getaway. Breezy teepees, fairy lights, Moroccan lamps, and more came together to set a magical ambiance for a night of music, dance, and entertainment. The couple flaunted haute couture for the evening and left everyone entranced with their style.
Haldi
The final day dawned with a sunkissed haldi morning. The earthy, lounge-style decor was full of rattan furniture, cabanas with floral canopies, refreshing flower arrangements of white and yellow, and more, putting a chic, modern twist on the traditional ritual.
Wedding and Reception
Abound in grandeur, the wedding ceremony was a royal affair with decadent decor and sparkling festivities. Vintage lamps, magical lighting, and plush floral arrangements set a regal tone, while the nuptials saw fireworks and splendor as the couple tied the knot.
