Wedding Venue
Hosting their wedding in the exotic paradise of Goa, the couple chose the contemporary Goan architecture and lush green surroundings of Alila Diwa Goa as the backdrop. With 118 well-appointed rooms and suites, large courtyards, pools, patios, and multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, all of which are nestled amidst the backdrop of the natural tropical landscape, Alila Diwa Goa was the perfect choice for an unforgettable celebration.
Wedding Planning
For their dream wedding, the couple envisioned experimental designs and inspired concepts from around the world, and entrusted the team of Designer Events Inc to craft a celebration that would narrate a unique story to the world.

Wedding Functions
Mehndi
Dubbed The Old Spice Souk – an inspiration from the Middle East, the mehndi soiree was fittingly held at the Spice Studio in Alila Diwa Goa. Filled with jute bags full of vibrant spices, colorful pottery, terracotta items, rugs, wicker baskets, and more, the occasion held a warm, rustic vibe that perfectly accentuated the earthy atmosphere of the venue.
Sangeet
The riveting Sangeet evening takes you on a journey of Amsterdam’s Moulin Rouge, full of mystique and exotic elements. Crafted with vintage chandeliers, trunks full of flowers, record players, candelabras, and red drapes, the stage made for a captivating visual story, while antique memorabilia and other unique artifacts filled the space with their allure. It was called 50 shades of red, the perfect setting for a night of music, dance, and magical moments.
Wedding
The wedding ceremony was a serene affair in white and wood, romantic in its minimalism. Flanked by white and gold chairs and flowers, the patterned aisle led to a unique set of wooden dividers and candle votives against the earthy backdrop of the hotel, setting a tranquil atmosphere for the couple’s vows.
Reception
Inspired by April’s travel escapades around the world which led her to be a fond collector of art, the Reception soiree was imagined with the unique theme of “The Art Melange”. The venue was filled with exotic floral arrangements interspersed with crystal votives, framed art pieces, eclectic elements, and more to set an intriguing and completely unusual tone for the occasion.
