Nestled in the lap of nature, this couple’s close-knit union embraced the beauty of minimalistic glam!

Artfully combining various hues to make each event stand out, Parachika and Naveen’s nuptials embraced the warmth of simplicity while paying an ode to tradition. Making the most of the lush outdoor venues, the couple and their family celebrated with abandon as WeddingSutra Favorite – Classique Events planned and designed their wedding.

For the NRI couple, minimalistic glam was the underlying theme of all events at their close-knit wedding. Simardeep Saluja from Classique Events gives us a breakdown of the events and how they overcame the unpredictable weather, “The first event on the cards was the mehndi which the bride wanted to be in serene pastel hues. It was an intimate celebration where the bride and her squad enjoyed themselves while taking in the stunning views of the golf course.

Next in line was the cocktail where the glam levels were lifted. However, we did encounter some issues with the weather as it started pouring heavily. Needless to say, the lawn venue we’d booked couldn’t be used. We quickly shifted the entire setup inside within thirty minutes. And, thankfully, the black and silver disco theme shone through even indoors! Everyone had a gala time as they grooved on the dancefloor, donned LED glasses and enjoyed cocktails.”

After the energetic cocktail, the wedding day arrived with bright sunshine! On the morning of the wedding, the couple hosted a joint haldi event in true Punjabi style with phulkari dupattas, brass urlis and lots of fun by the pool! Simardeep shares, “We combine turquoise blue with yellow hues to reflect the sunny weather outside on the wedding morning. Marigold garlands were suspended from the trees along with sequin hangings. The bride and groom sat on brass urlis and were playfully slathered with haldi. After the festivities, the couple and their loved ones took a quick dip in the pool.”

For the sundowner wedding, the duo chose a soft pink color palette to echo the colours of the sunset. The wedding mandap was adorned with pink blooms and the couple’s wedding hashtag was also a part of the backdrop in gold letters. Hosted on the golf course overlooking the Tarudhan Valley it was a serene ritual lit up by the last rays of the sun.

The following evening the couple celebrated their first evening as newlyweds with a ‘souk and boho’ themed reception. Red and gold hues were generously used across the venue and the couple entered with a blast of cold pyros.
