Nitima and Jahan’s Platinum Day of Love

Our initiative ‘Love Actually’ features engaged couples and captures beautiful moments between them. The series celebrates the beautiful people in love as they start their lives together. Over a fabulous makeover and a photo shoot, we get these couples to share how they met, capture the rare connection they share and talk about their day of love.
Little getaways have been an integral part of Nitima and Jahan’s love story so it was only fitting for us to capture their love at a weekend escape at The Gateway Hotel Ambad Nashik.
Nitima and Jahan swiped right on Tinder and their bond turned romantic over the course of long walks, unlimited ice cream, endless conversations and a whole lot of adventure.
But one of the trips that they took together changed the way they perceived their bond. “Right before we moved to different cities, we decided to take a vacation together and that trip changed a lot for us. It made us realize how much we didn’t want to part ways even if it meant a long distance relationship. It helped us understand what we needed to do next professionally to move back to the same city. That was definitely a defining moment in our relationship.”
Each couple has a unique bond and Jahan says, “With us, we balance each other beautifully and there is never a tough day if we are together. She is the calm to my crazy and I am the crazy to her calm and we share a bond as strong as Platinum!”

Nitima: Now isn’t this place beautiful!
Jahan: Yes, but I know of a spot that’s even better.
Jahan: What do you have to say about this?
Nitima: Only that I’m completely speechless!
And it was time for a glass of wine…
And a toast to a future filled with love
Jahan: Now that, I’d say was a good day.
Nitima: I would differ only to say that any day spent with you, is a good day!
That’s how over long walks and romantic talks Nitima and Jahan found their Platinum Day of Love.
Nitima told us a little bit her journey and the qualities that sealed the deal for them. She said, “We realized we shared similar tastes and preferences and yet, we were exact opposites of each other. Just like two pieces of a puzzle, we fit as though we were made only for each other.” She then went on to talk about their engagement and why they chose Platinum love bands – a symbol of love crafted using one of the rarest metals, “We have always loved the concept of Platinum. It signifies milestones that are only achievable with a lot of patience, hard work, compassion and consistent improvement. Therefore when it came to selecting our engagement rings, we knew we would be buying platinum and nothing else.”
While makeup artist Neha Shah ensured that Nitima’s look was on point all day, photographers Namit and Vipul of Knotty Affair By Namit & Vipul made sure every frame was composed to perfection. To take the shoot to the next level ORRA extended exquisite platinum pieces from their collection.
