Why have ‘A Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ when you can rock a bridal shower there?
Priyanka Chopra’s dreamy bridal shower hosted at the iconic Tiffany & Co. Blue Box Cafe in New York City was a fun party thrown by her two best girlfriends, film producer Mubina Rattonsey and her manager Anjula Acharia.
Looking like a vision in ivory silk, the bride-to-be wore a strapless cocktail gown by Marchesa featuring an organza bodice, ivory threadwork and feather textures. Priyanka was seen showing off her engagement ring from her fiancé and not to miss the dazzling diamond necklace and earrings (worth over a whopping $1 million) from Tiffany & Co.
Styled by celebrity favourite, Mimi Cuttrell, Priyanka’s look was completed with patent nude Louboutins and a clutch by Jimmy Choo. Makeup Artist Yumi Mori kept Priyanka’s look simple by choosing a fresh, dewy base and adding a purple pop of colour to her eyes.
Surrounded by family and friends with over 100 people attending the all-girls fete, the guest list included bride’s future sister-in-law Danielle Jonas, Kelly Ripa, and Lupita Nyong’o, and Nick’s mother, Denise Miller-Jonas who gave a lovely speech about her daughter-in-law-to-be before the DJ got the party started. Later, the actor also posted videos on Instagram where she was seen swaying with mother Madhu Chopra, mother-in-law Denise Jonas, Kelly Ripa and Lupita Nyong’o.
The guests parted with goodie bags that included monogrammed passport cases, mini cakes shaped like the iconic Tiffany box, and champagne. Truly a sweet way to end a bridal shower!
