This intimate wedding by Riwaaz-e-Rishte stole the show with its cozy grandeur

Ridhima and Prateek had always dreamed of a simple and intimate wedding where they would quietly celebrate with their family and friends. So to make the vision of their wedding come to life, they chose WeddingSutra Favorite – Riwaaz-e-Rishte, who with their incredible planning skills left no stone unturned to ensure the couple’s dream came true.

Explaining the creative process behind choosing the themes for every event and the kind of brief she received from the duo, Anisha Verma of Riwaaz-e-Rishte shares, “We were accountable for almost everything in this wedding from the decor to the food menus and hence, we were absolutely adamant about giving our very best! We’ve always been enthusiastic about breaking stereotypes and not sticking to the traditional routes when it comes to wedding functions. Keeping that in mind and the trust that both the families had instilled in us, we chose a white and yellow color palette for the sundowner Mehendi along with Rajasthani prints to signify the culture of the venue. A cozy yet quirky seating area was also included in the event which was extremely comfortable even though they were crafted out of tires! Next, for the Sangeet, the duo chose a glamorous black and gold theme that was accentuated by white flowers to set everyone in the mood to party. And to end things on a high note, we chose an open lawn for the big day where everything was kept simple yet minimalistic in order to enhance the natural lushness of the venue.

In their brief Prateek and Ridhima had always emphasized how they wanted the wedding to be simple and intimate, however, the families were enthusiastic about a typical Indian celebration with an added dash of grandeur. All in all, our task was to strike a balance between the two and ensure no one felt excluded. I can gladly say that we were very successful in our endeavor.”

However, being a wedding planner is no easy task, and talking about her unique experience as a wedding planner who had a colossal amount of responsibility riding on her shoulders, Anisha shares, “At 6 am on the Mehendi day, Ridhima called and informed me that the shoes she had packed for the function were missing. She was in utter panic as she had planned out her looks thoroughly and wanted to wear those very pair of shoes. Quickly, I dispatched a few team members to Pushkar, which is where she hails from to buy those shoes. Thankfully before the day’s festivities started, we got her those shoes and everything went ahead smoothly.
I think this just highlights the scope of responsibilities and expectations that a planner has to cater to and being in that role, we weren’t hesitant about going the extra mile.”
