All the Gorgeous Looks from The WeddingSutra Beauty Awards 2019

The WeddingSutra Beauty Awards 2019 hosted at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai was a night about all things beautiful and this included sheer magnificence even on the fashion front. The guests arrived promising enough style inspiration to get everyone through the entire session.

Here are all the details on who wore what.

In a golden sequin suit Sheetal Mafatalal dazzled (quite literally) through the evening. Taking the luxurious Midas theme a notch further, she paired her Redemption Couture ensemble with golden accessories and a black clutch with metallic embellishments.

Azmina Rahimtoola’s look packed an unmissable modern vibe. Dull yellow flared trousers by Anand Kabra was the highlight of her look that went perfectly with her crisp black jacket-style blouse.

A self-designed steel grey jacket defined Aarti Surendranath’s red carpet style for the WeddingSutra Beauty Awards 2019. The striking ruffled collar added a heavy dose of drama to her single-tone look and a brooch effortlessly elevated the get-up.

Monochrome was the way to go for makeup artist Chandni Singh who matched a black cold shoulder top from Forever New with Banana Republic pants and a Chanel bag in the same color. Her shoes from Tory Burch and a pair of gold earrings from Dior completed her look.

A side-clinch dress is a classic and made for makeup artist Kulsum Parvez’s outfit of choice for this glittering night. The appeal of the red ensemble by Avirate was enhanced by a large black and grey 3D floral feature in the front and a bold gold bracelet.

Bringing her A-Level style game, Eshaa Amin was spotted in a twist drape jumpsuit by Lola by Suman B. The fiery hue was complemented with warm tones of gold jewellery and a sparkling sling that furthered the glam quotient of her look.

If there is one outfit that is always en vogue when it comes to Indian fashion, is a saree. Dr. Jamuna Pai went with a timeless look by choosing for herself a green and mustard drape by Tarun Tahiliani and struck a pose with a confident smile and a golden Bottega Venta clutch.

Mitasha Singh was seen sporting a white maxi dress that was upgraded with baubles from Nordstrom and Windsor Store and high heeled footwear from Zara finished her look.

Makeup Artist Nivritti Chandra was a picture of elegance in a heavily embroidered Lucknowi work saree which she wore in order to promote the work of weavers and karigars behind this traditional craft. Styled by Urvashi Shah, her look brought together fashion and cause.

Fringes are taking over fashion and Nisha JamVwal’s style at WeddingSutra Beauty Awards 2019 was no exception. The celebrity columnist and luxury consultant was seen wearing a black fringe dress with red accents and frilled sheer sleeves.

Looking sharp at the event was makeup artist Preeti Jain who gave dresses and gowns a miss by opting for a pair of trousers and a black top from Zara which she paired with a leopard print jacket. She brought in a touch of color to the ensemble with jade green tassel earrings from H&M.

Nothing spells glamour better than some sparkle. Makeup artist Kajol R Paswwan was resplendent in a long sleeve silver gown that was covered in sequins and upped the allure of this statement dress with dewy makeup.

Vithika Agarwal of DivyaVithika Wedding Planners kept it classy in a grey body con dress with a plunging neckline which was teamed with minimalistic silver jewelry. Her co-founder Divya Chauhan, on the other hand, went with a shimmery gold tube dress and completed her getup with a high updo that had her looking nothing less than a movie star!

Cory Walia showed that he wasn’t acing only in the field of makeup by letting his self designed bandhgala jacket be the highlight of his look. He was dressed in a black kurta from Fab India which he combined with his floral koti.

The cheery yellow that manages to add liveliness to any look was Malti Wadhwa’s pick. She chose a yellow skater dress with an embellished bodice by Rana Gill and paired it with steel grey pumps. Sushil Wadhwa too was unafraid to experiment with color and went with a purple jacket by Hugo Boss. He teamed this with a black Calvin Klien shirt and a pair of Diesel jeans.

Going for a look that was comfortable and stylish at the same time, wedding planner Divya Chadha of A Klass Apart wore a grey jumpsuit from TCEC. A Patek Philippe watch and wedges from Charles & Keith added the finishing touches to her attire.

Makeup Artist Shamita Gogia was pretty as a picture in a red body con dress with a flounce trim and ruffled shoulders which she wore with a glittering clutch and a pair of dainty earrings.

The Director and Co-Founder of WeddingSutra, Madhulika Mathur, balanced chic and edgy aesthetics by choosing a black outfit designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock. Her circular sleeve fitted dress with typography and floral embroidery patches were matched with a pair of shimmering Jimmy Choo heels.

Making an impact with her feminine yet fierce look was singer, songwriter, and actress Manasi Scott. Her deep green Payal Singhal gown with a shower of floral motifs all over was paired with a shiny gold clutch and a chunky bracelet from Azotiique.
Makeup and Hairstyling: Hinal Dattani

Dressed in a blue floral gown from Isolda, celebrity stylist Aastha Sharma emulated a queenly vibe. While the billowing skirt and the frilled sleeves lent to her outfit a sense of extravagance, the printed fabric and the cool color added a youthful touch to it.
