Bride-to-be Palaek spoke to us about how her ‘Day with WeddingSutra Favorites’ helped her gain valuable insights when planning her dream wedding.
Stop 1: Beauty Erudition With Make-up Artist Tabeer Amrohi
Bride-to-be Palaek’s day began with an insightful session with makeup artist Tabeer Amrohi. An informative discussion with Tabeer taught Palaek the importance of having her skin hydrated and how it can enhance the effect of the make-up products used. Tabeer also shared important tips with Palak on how to start prepping up for her wedding six months in advance. She experimented various looks on Palaek’s face, helping her understand which suits her best. A simple nude look for the eyes, melded with a conventional pink on the lips, was the look that Palaek liked the most and sported all day long.
Stop 2: Consultation With The Photo Lab
An interactive session with The Photo Lab helped the bride-to-be understand the various aspects of wedding film and photography. Seeing the various shots with different lighting, backdrops, setups and lenses helped Palaek gain clarity on the kind of images she would want to be clicked at her wedding. The team gave her tips on how to pose and smile for bridal portraits as well.
Stop 3: Papa Don’t Preach By Shubhika
An extensive chat with Shubhika of Papa Don’t Preach gave Palaek an in-depth understanding of which color palette suits her. She had a great time trying on different lehenga designs – both modern and traditional – as well as gaining knowledge from the skilled designer on how to choose the perfect wedding outfit. Shubhika shared insights with Palaek on which designs would suit her body type the best and also gave her ideas to keep in mind before selecting an outfit for each ceremony.
Stop 4: Honeymoon Curator ‘A Travel Duet’
A dreamy honeymoon is definitely on every bride’s mind and Palaek had many queries when it came to planning her own. Her insightful yet fun-filled chat with the team of A Travel Duet helped her resolve all her doubts. She learnt how to plan a tailor-made holiday while sticking to her budget and was thrilled to explore all the destinations she had shortlisted with them.
Stop 5: The White Door
Wedding planning is not an easy job and Palaek, like most brides, was weary after all the running around. A pampering session at the famous luxury spa, The White Door, however, helped her feel rejuvenated and refreshed to proceed with the remaining tasks. Here she was treated to one of the institute’s finest and most sought-after treatments, the Knesko Gold Mask, in order to help her maintain her pre-bridal glow and prep her skin for her big day. The team also gave her their luxurious classic manicure, which made her hands feel soft and dainty. While the sessions were in progress, Palaek learnt about all the treatments she should start undergoing to maintain the health and quality of her skin and hair before her big day.
Stop 6: Pink Whistle Man
Palaek’s final stop was with Pink Whistle Man to finalize her wedding invitations. After going through a plethora of designs that left her awestruck, Palaek gained insight on how to design her invitation with a personal touch. Truly excited to see the aesthetically-amazing designs of Pink Whistle Man at such pocket-friendly prices, Palaek could barely hold back her euphoria as she concluded her day!
