Surrounded by the exotic Dubai landscape, this pre-wedding photoshoot was high on glamor

A traditional arranged marriage setup led Dr. Zalak Patel, a practicing doctor, and Harsh Patel, a real estate entrepreneur to cross paths. Despite having lived in the same neighborhood, the duo had never met but once they saw each other’s profiles, cupid was quick to strike. However, as the pandemic made its way around the globe, the duo had to grapple with a postponed date. But they quickly adapted to the uncertain times and found their silver lining. They decided to execute a pre-wedding shoot to capture their precious moments before they became life partners. To help encapsulate these memories, they chose WeddingSutra Favorite – Priyam Parikh Pictures who with their unbridled creativity clicked stunning pictures of the couple against the stunning Dubai landscape.
Recollecting the start of their relationship, Zalak shares, “I first came across Harsh’s profile through my parents and after looking at his pictures, I was completely smitten. Surprisingly we both lived in the same neighborhood, in adjacent buildings actually, and had never seen each other personally! Soon, a meeting was arranged where after an awkward start we hit it off! And by the time we left, numbers were exchanged which led to regular chatting and secret dates over the course of a month. Eventually, we both realized the love we had for each other which led to Harsh popping the question over a dinner date to which I happily said ‘yes!’”
And even though the pandemic brought their wedding plans to a halt, the couple’s vivacious personalities shone through as they planned a pre-wedding shoot right out of the blue. Describing the planning process of the shoot, Zalak shares, “The decision to execute a pre-wedding shoot was completely unplanned. But, once the idea struck us, it was hard to let go. Next, we got in touch with Priyam Parikh Pictures who guided us as we went through the precautions that needed to be taken and also suggested destinations that were safe to visit.
In just a week, we were all set to shoot in Dubai.”
Helmed by Priyam Parikh Pictures, the shoot was an absolute success as each shot conveyed the love the duo felt for each other. Zalak shares, “At first, we had absolutely no idea about the theme of the shoot but with Priyam Parikh Pictures’ help we brainstormed and came up with a theme that mimicked a glamorous couple’s journey in Dubai. From lounging on a yacht, basking under the desert sun, riding ATV bikes, jet skis and cars, to coming back to the luxurious hotel, each part of the shoot was thrilling! The fun part for me however, was choosing and changing into the outfits at the crack of dawn. But, all things considered, it was a rewarding experience where team Priyam Parikh Pictures gave us something incredibly unique photos for both of us to cherish for the rest of our lives. Be it love or an arranged marriage, I think everyone should consider executing a pre-wedding shoot as it definitely made our bond stronger!”
